Pechone Stepps is the perfect example of someone who has “Learned to Live With” a spinal cord injury. Not only has he accepted his limitations, but he has not allowed the limitations to stop him from living out his dream of being a basketball coach. This season he has reached two major milestones. As the head coach of the Fort Scott high school girls basketball team, Pechone lead them to a sub state championship this season (2023-2024) and he accumulated his 100th career victory since taking over as the head coach.
