While we were in the planning stages of the upcoming fundraiser to benefit individuals and families dealing with a new spinal cord injury, I received word from two different friends in Kansas City telling me about a 17 year-old boy who was injured on spring break while vacationing with his family. I am making this post and asking for prayers because the Jandric family is currently facing an incredibly difficult and terrifying time. Their beloved son, Ryder, is now in rehab at Craig Hospital and they are navigating the overwhelming complexities of his medical care and recovery.
As they focus their energy and love on Ryder’s healing journey, people are rallying together to help ease some of the burdens that can feel so heavy in times like these. Efforts like these show the Jandric family they’re not alone during this unimaginable time and it is why we do what we do through the Live With It Foundation.
